The Single Vineyard Shiraz was first released in 2015 as a bit of a nod to Rutherglen Shiraz- an underrated treasure. The lean soils to the East of Rutherglen, together with deficit irrigation keeps cropping levels low and the fruit grown on this site, bursting with flavour and personality. A full-bodied wine by all accounts we’ve allowed this wine a little longer in barrel to soften the abundant tannins and allow the fruit to truly sing. She will live for years in the cellar if you have the patience or enjoy this radiant beauty in her youth.
