While the Sutherland Smith story in Rutherglen commenced in 1864, a new chapter began in 1991 when Andrew Sutherland Smith and wife Carol established Warrabilla Wines. The cellar door opened at its current site west of Rutherglen five years later. Throughout the years, the reputation for producing red wines of immense structure and impeccable balance has grown, while the commitment to quality and the unapologetic approach to flavor remains.
