Cabernet has been part of the Warrabilla story since the home vineyard was planted in 1995. In suitable years, these now mature vines produce Cabernet of rare depth and flavour.

It is unusual to have two consecutive great Cabernet years in Rutherglen, but that is certainly the case, with the 2022 a worthy successor to the fantastic 2021 release. Ripe cherries, a flicker of clove and vanilla, and varietal tobacco leaf notes. Ideal to cellar over the medium term.
