The second release in our 'Small Batch' series. Grenache Blanc has quickly grown to become one of the most exciting prospects among emerging varieties in Australia. 

Grown throughout much of Southern France and North East Spain, it is no surprise that it adapts well in moderate to warm regions in Australia. A genetic off-shoot of the well established red Grenache grape, Grenache Blanc is a flavoursome, relatively thick skinned grape that offers apple, pear, honeydew and fragrant herbal characters amongst its flavour profile. 

After crushing and gentle pressing we split this wine into three roughly equal components with one ageing for a short period in French oak, one on lees to encourage creamy texture, and one in tank to preserve fruit character. The result is a beatifully balanced white with subtle fruit characters and great mouthfeel.
